To be at Peace with oneself. You cannot please everyone around you.
"Peace on Earth, and Goodwill To All"
Lord, make me a channel of thy peace
that where there is hatred, I may bring love
that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness
that where there is discord, I may bring harmony
that where there is error, I may bring truth
that where there is doubt, I may bring faith
that where there is despair, I may bring hope
that where there are shadows, I may bring light
that where there is sadness, I may bring joy.
Lord, grant that I might seek rather to comfort,
than to be comforted
to understand, than to be understood
to love, than to be loved.
For it is by unselfishness that one finds.
It is by forgiving that one is forgiven.
It is by dying that one awakens to eternal life
Jesus said, "My peace I give to you--not as the world gives you."
The world's peace is not HIS peace.
The world's peace is a product of human moral passion or political wisdom,
Prince of Peace Jesus, won everlasting peace by his self-giving death and victorious resurrection.

Think Feel Be
Let the mind think, let the heart have compassion, but let your core drive passion. These 3 components are separate entities and function independently of each other. When passion comes, the mind must relent. Let us also be receptive to our core. What is going on inside of me right now, listen for it, do you hear it? Does it come like a crash of thunder or more like in the still of the night? Physical attraction drives your emotions and sensations. You cannot resist it. You must respond-jealousy, rage, resentment, love.
You exist to love and be loved and at the center of it all is God, Yaweh, I am, Being. Within each of us is the capacity to love deeply and unconditionally and as naturally as when we breathe.
Every instance of my life I choose to respond or not to something that occurs. Usually I react instinctivelyly or thoughtfully. When I do not respond it is because my core being has been disrupted. When I respond it takes months later because I must internalize the information fully.
Meditation brings you in tune with your Being or Core of who you are, to think, to feel, to understand yourself and the world around you. Work for perfection always and self-actualization or betterment of self. Although be happy with who you are at the present time one must also strive for more. Work out your feelings of hopelessness, despair, and give it real solutions. The key to life is not running away or substituting it, rather face it, say why you like or dislike it, and own it.

Passions
"Passion is a key ingredient ... of life. It is with passion, courage of conviction, and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world, remembering that first impressions are not always correct. You must always have faith in people. And most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself." Elle Woods - Legally Blonde

Great 1 liners
"You can't get off if you don't get on." Spiderman 2
"I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it. Neo, sooner or later you're going to realize just as I did that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world? A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you. You have a problem with authority, Mr. Anderson. You believe you are special, that somehow the rules do not apply to you. Obviously, you are mistaken. What is "real"? How do you define "real"?The time has come to make a choice, Mr. Anderson. Either you choose to be at your desk on time from this day forth, or you choose to find yourself another job. Matrix1
For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I'm suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I'm not leaving... maybe I'm going home.Jerome, never shy, pisses on command. Beautiful piece of equipment you've got there Jerome. I ever told you that? It's funny, you work so hard, you do everything you can to get away from a place, and when you finally get your chance to leave, you find a reason to stay. There's no gene for the human spirit." Gattaca
I would like so much to reach out to you and touch you in your loneliness. What would it be like, I wonder? Schindlers List
If you just learn a single trick, Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it. To Kill a Mockingbird
Normal? What do you know about normal? What does anyone in this family know about normal? We just *act* normal, I want to *be* normal. The only normal person is Jack-Jack and he is not even toilet trained. The Incredibles

Childhood anachronism
So a little about me...raised in Portland Oregon Went hiking and fishing in the great outdoors with my family, consisting of 4 boys, 2 girls, mom and dad. What I remember about Oregon was its Rose Garden, Fred Meyers stores, Willamette River, Sturgeons and Salmon runs, smelt fishing, the Grotto, Mt Hood, Rooster Rock Beach, and lots of rainy summers riding our bikes around or paddling our rubber boat down the river, etc...These great memories of childhood is what I would like to instill into my future family photoalbum. You are only a child once and the experiences with your parents and the outdoors will last a lifetime. I hope to oneday share that with my significant other and our family.
Then we moved down to sunny San Diego..to go to a private high school and later a private college...wow that was a long time ago. I studied my primers-science, math, writing and reading. I was able to take some AP classes like English and Calculus. Although my favorite courses were drama, art, and history. I graduated top 10% of my class and went to college on a scholarship. My college tuition was 10K per year, now its 30K. So glad I dont have to go back, couldnt afford that debt now. I graduated with biochemistry/chemistry major and close minors were in religion and mathematics-missing 2-3 classes wtih science GPA 3.50.
Most of my career life has been in biotech although I sometimes wonder why I stay in this industry or field.
